About Asa

I like new things. New normally involves growth of some kind.

New ideas, new technologies, new strategies, new insights.
All stimulating in some way, all helping to tweak my view of the business world and often pointing to exciting opportunities.

I've been in business development since I was a kid, converting my paper round drops into home cleaning clients for $5/hour.

I paid my way through university with a combination of student bar nights and campus distribution of branded samples.

I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years, arranging licensing deals between international companies. Converted my networks into an online marketplace for IP that still leads the sector today. Next stop is artificial intelligence for BD.

I have a persistent penchant for hacking. Finding ways to test and try ideas, to connect with key decision makers, to simply 'get stuff done' without resources or time. To make the most of partnerships, software and sweat.

I've worked in London, Toronto, New York, San Francisco, & Shanghai. I appreciate cultures, business models and how interesting life can be if you give things a try.

I've tried (and failed) to make things work in beer, honey, publishing, distribution and consulting. I learnt a lot, made a tonne of connections and survived to share the stories.

I believe I think a little differently than most.
I'd love the opportunity to see if it can benefit your business.
